Welcome to 8th Grade MYP Drama
Teachers: Mrs. Weeks & Mr. Bell
This trimester will be spent studying theatrical possibilities that arise from the study of the personal stories of asylum seekers from around the world. In addition experiment in ways to stage Romeo and Juliet, learn stage combat techniques, and research into the Elizabethan world and its influence of Shakespeare’s work.

You will need the following for this class:
- A Process Journal
- Mandatory equipment (pen, pencil, colored pencils, scissors and ruler.
- Clothes & shoes that you can move in & are in dress code

This Moodle site is organized around the Units of work and topics that you will be studying. There will be additional readings, interesting links and attachments to rubrics to be used for summative assessments in each topic.We will sometimes post homework here as well.
