The Experimental Sciences course in AIS in grade 8 is designed around a theme of Sustainable Survival. Students will appreciate that science is an inquiry-guided human endeavor. The course encompasses laboratory investigations, information research, synthesis and writing, and classroom instructional activities. The course content is an integration of physics, biology and chemistry. Emphasis is placed on asking questions, designing investigations, drawing conclusions from observations, communicating the implications of conclusions, and solving relevant problems.
