The Experimental Sciences course in AIS in grade 9 is designed around a theme of Human Health. Students will appreciate that science is an inquiry-guided human endeavor. The course encompasses laboratory investigations, information research, synthesis and writing, and classroom instructional activities. The content of the courses is divided equally among units of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Emphasis is placed on asking questions, designing investigations, drawing conclusions from observations, communicating the implications of conclusions, and solving relevant problems.
